Vision


The Teacher Education Department (TED) envisions for a holistic transformation and development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the students to become world-class educators and researchers as well as good stewards of God’s creation.

Mission


Graduates shall be equipped with functional knowledge and manifest their skills in:


Christian values and practices;

Research and Innovative;

Appreciation and integration of the Christian Values in

daily life through community service;

Fellowship with educators’ by joining professional 

education;

Teach and inculcate knowledge on the theories and

principles of teaching that can respond effectively to the

demands of the Philippine Educational system;

Seek spirituality with God and His creations

Goal


The Teacher Education Department shall produce competent and skilled teachers with functional knowledge in Christian values, and in the field of Social Sciences, Humanity Science, Language, Mathematics and Technology and Technical-Vocational Education.

 

Specifically, the BEEd aims to develop elementary school teachers who are either generalists who can teach across the different learning areas in the grade school, special education teachers or preschool teachers.


The BSEd aims to develop high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school like Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, English, Filipino, among others.

Specific Objectives

The Teacher Education Department shall:

Cope with the current realities of Education and worldwide quality education to the Youth.

Offer programs for Elementary, Secondary and Technical-Vocational Teacher Education.

Provide specialization and major studies in Mathematics, Languages, Social and Natural Sciences, and Technical-Vocational Education.

Expand its offering to graduates of non-education   degrees, who opt to become teachers as their second career, through the Teacher Certificate Program   wherein the students shall take 18 units of professional education courses and 12 units of experiential learning, in compliance with R.A.7836 (The LET Law) to qualify them to take the Licensure Examination for teachers. (Sec.8, Art. III, CMO # 52, s. 2007)

Mission


Develop an environment friendly social enterprise alternative marketing and biological knowledge and skill for better sound environment.

Goal

To develop expertise and managerial skills in the field of sustainable agriculture social enterprise and agri-business for small farmers and their families. Teach, integrate religion, agriculture and biological sciences as the Core of the Curriculum.

Objectives

Agri-Business and Natural Sciences Program has for its Specific Objectives the following, and shall be able to:

Provide skills in producing sustainable crops and other farm commodities along hilly land;

Inculcate among the learner basic accounting, marketing and

financial management, business communication, and business planning;

Conduct research, innovate and explore methods in stimulating growth on agri-business;

Knowledgeable, skilled and creative in developing alternative agriculture enterprise in rural community.

Goal


To produce Christ-centered graduates and young entrepreneurs who are morally upright and good ecological stewards.

The DBM shall be able to:
