There are two libraries of the College, namely the College and the Basic Education Libraries. These libraries provide materials and resources that will support instruction and takes charge of the classification, cataloguing, and circulation of books, magazines and other printed materials. The Librarian prepares, purchase, requisition for reading materials, equipment and supplies needed by the library. It undertakes a continuing review of condition of books and periodicals, and does the necessary repair and binding of damaged items. The College Library is provided with computers for reproduction and internet research.
This is an air-conditioned laboratory, which has major role in supplementing and contemplating foreign language instruction in the classroom. This facility is designed to assist you if you want the basic ability to attain an international English speech sound, and you have less display of fluency in speaking English and faulty in analyzing and listening to a speech production.
This room is used for small conferences, convocations, symposia, meetings and film showing. You may file your request for use with the College Human Resource Management Officer.
This laboratory is divided into two separate rooms; the Wet and Dry Laboratories. These rooms are used for investigatory works and experiments. Laboratory apparatus and chemicals are kept in a stock room for safer storage.
This is the center of the school’s spiritual activities, a concrete expression of its character as a Roman Catholic School. You may begin and end your day in prayer or communication to the Lord in this Chapel.
This is where computer classes are held. You are given the basic knowledge in the use of computer and expose you to the latest trend in the integration of computer education in the professional level. You may also enjoy a variety of internet offerings as directed by your Instructor. However, you are forbidden to access Facebook and web for personal gratification.
There are existing TV Monitors in some Classrooms. You are allowed to use it to enhance your learning. You are however not allowed to use it for movies and video games unless authorized by your teachers, or unless it is for education or learning purposes.
Bulletin Boards are found around the campus and in some cases at the classrooms. These boards are used for publication or announcement of your intended activities, either in manila paper, bond paper or tarpaulin. You are advised to make use of these bulletin boards. You are not allowed to just paste your announcement in any area of the campus. Also seek admission from the Dean of Student Services or Publication Officer as may be authorized by the President, if you have something to paste in any of the Bulletin Boards.
You read announcements and notices posted at the bulletin board and safeguard these publications from being tampered or vandalized.
All pieces of lost clothing, bags, books, notebooks, calculators, wallets and other personal belongings must be submitted to the office of the Head of the Student Services. Names of owners if ever, may be posted at the Bulletin Board.
The Registrar Office serves as recipient and custodian of all your records and your incoming and outgoing credentials. This office keeps all of your records, up-date and examine your credentials for purposes of registration and enforcing entrance requirements in consonance with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the school’s philosophy and objectives.
This Office provides guidance and counselling for both BED and College students, administer entrance and other examinations, collect test data and interpret results for use of the implementer of the College’s Educational Philosophy, Vision and Mission.
The Health Services Office provides dental and medical treatment for you and attends to your health needs. It maps out plans and carry out programs in cooperation with medical authorities and administrative school personnel and in consonance with the school’s policies and standards. It maintains a school clinic and health records of all students. It administers trainings for disaster preparedness, drugs prevention and gender development.
The College sells school supplies and provides food services at School Canteen for your needs. It ensures that there is variety of goods and nutritious food offered to you. You are required to patronize the school canteen. You are prohibited to buy a snacks and other food items from outside and from ambulant vendors during school hours. This is to protect you from acquiring diseases.
This is an open hall in the 3rd Floor of the St. Monica Building where big assemblies are held.
The Security Guard and Reception Officer takes charge of your security. He receives and allow you to enter the campus if you complied with the College rules and regulations that is required by Management to be imposed by the security guard.
Intended both for Basic and College Students, this is where you apply your learning in housekeeping, cooking, baking and bartending.
Programs and different school activities are held at the stage inside the school quadrangle.
Located on the ground floor of the administration building, this is where you settle your financial obligations to the school.
This office handles the compliance of school rules and regulations and the prescription of necessary penalties for non-compliance. It also looks after your extra-curricular activities and wholesome physical growth and development so that you can creatively direct your energies, maximize your potentials, and participate actively in the school co-curricular and curricular activities.
Located at the ground floor beside the Clinic, the MRBOC serves as the school’s link with the larger community with its outreach programs and projects for less fortunate brethren. As a student of LCC, you are required to participate in the outreach programs upon the direction and supervision of your adviser/teacher.
To reinforce your intellectual and academic development, you are encouraged to be a member of any corresponding campus and subject area organizations, during your stay at the College, subject to the following guidelines and conditions;
1. You register and seek approval of the Dean of Student Services if you wish to organize a club or a campus organization.
2. As a general rule, you are required to be a member of only one (1) club and/or one organization.
3. If you are an officer or member of major organizations (e.g. Press, SCB, SB, Catechists, and Marching Band) you are not allowed to join minor clubs, except for subject-related (club) society.
4. You should report to your respective clubs at least once a week.
5. Each club shall have a maximum member of only 50.
The Following are the existing and recognized campus clubs and organizations for College Students:
A. Religious / Values Education
a. KORO LCCian
It is the mission of the KORO LCCians to develop you through musical experiences that promote the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to become creative thinking individuals, independent musicians, life-long learners, informed consumers of music, participants of music-making, and supporters of music and music education.
This club also aims to develop you in your love for music and appreciation for God through singing. You are encouraged to join the church choir and guitarist during masses.
B. Legion of Mary
This is an organization, which aims to deepen your devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to bring you closer to Christ through
prayer and in doing spiritual works of mercy to others.
C. Lector’s / Commentator’s Guild
The guild will provide you an opportunity to develop and hone your speech skills at the same time enliven your faith by becoming
familiar with the Word of God. This will also train you to be more participative and active in Church affairs or in the faith community.
B. Academic Discipline and Co-Curricular Clubs
a. Press Club
It aims to develop the students’ competitive abilities in the production of literary articles, features, and columns for the LCC
schoolprogram. You join the editorial staff of The Panopticon, the Official Student Publication of College Department.
b. Filipino Club
It aims to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Filipino people, to foster the values of God-centeredness, human-centeredness,
nation-centeredness, nature-centeredness and to assist the college in envisioning and building up the character of a universal Filipino.
c. English Club
Aims to develop the students’ English Communication in both oral and written. All English and English Major Students should join this
Club.
d. TeatroLCCians
This is school’s official institutional theatre company, which offers basic theatre art workshops, trainings and seminars. This leads to
making you as actors, and as part of the artistic and production staff in minor and major theatre production.
e. Math Club
Membership in this club will develop your mathematical skills and make you appreciate mathematics through varied activities.
f. Science Club
Membership in this club can provide you venue for your logical thinking through scientific method, promote your greater
consciousness and involvement in the field of science, and develop concern, care, love and respect for the promotion and preservation
of God’s creation. It will also enable you to discover something through research.
g. Sport Clubs
The Sports Unit is responsible for the development and implementation of Intramural and Extramural Sports program of the
institution. The program facilitates growth and development of students in the field of co-curricular activities, through varied sports
activities that would develop their strength of character, endurance, fortitude, brotherhood/sisterhood, teamwork or “bayanihan”, and
sportsmanship in pursuit for excellence and quality life infused with Augustinian Spirituality.
h. Dance Troupe
This organization offers activities which provide experiences and special skills that will foster healthy and positive social interactions
and appreciation of cultural dances. The offering of a variety of dances ensures your opportunity to enhance your bodily-kinesthetic
abilities.
i. LCC Band
Aims to develop your talents and skills in playing musical instruments and love for music. This serves as the school’s official band.
j. Performing Arts
Performing arts is the unit which focuses on developing your varied artistic skills. The different activities help enhance your
personality in terms of active participation in a dynamic, effective solid interaction, and appreciation of human nature and “artistic
exploration”. It has three components namely: TeatroLCCians, KoroLCCians and Dance Troupe.
k. Historical Society
This organization will help you promote and preserve the cultural heritage of the Filipinos.
l. Computer Society
It serves as a form of information exchange among its members in order to promote and facilitate innovations and adaptations of
data processing and information system. It aims to broaden your knowledge on information technology and develop you to become a
computer literate member.
m. Young Entrepreneurs’ Society
The Society provides forum to build budding economist, industrialists and businessmen who will someday become pillars of the
nation’s economy through innovative and creative ventures directed at utilizing and developing local resources for the progress of the
nation. It will give experience to young people in turning economic challenges into financial and productive victories. All Business
Education students should join this club.
C. Campus Organization
a. Student Coordinating Body (SCB)
The SCB is a student government that is organized to evoke participation in the supervision and facilitation of students. This
organization aims to give you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and allow you to practice good governance particularly
by applying the values of good Christian leadership.
b. Peer Facilitator’s Club
It aims to develop your counselling skills in order to assist the guidance center in the various Guidance Activities as well as promote
spirit of friendship and unity among your peers.
c. Student Brigade
Provides you an opportunity to develop endurance, discipline, alertness, and leadership skills in preparation for the tasks in which you
are to handle in the near future. The members will serve as assistance for physical arrangement and after care in school programs and
activities.
